Michigan just played a horrible game, didn’t shoot well at all, forced too much and weren’t very efficient. Indiana played almost as well as they could possibly play. They shot the lights out, hit every free throw, and were very efficient. Yet, they only won by 8. Michigan is by far the most superior offensive team in the country when they show up to play. Even when they don’t show up to play, they are still top ten. Not many teams would have beat them with the way they played tonight and it wasn’t even close to their best effort.

Brandon Knight looking focused. He looks in great shape.
As a Detroit Pistons fan, I’m excited to see them play next season.

Nash to the Lakers

Beasley to the Suns

Kidd to the Knicks

Allen to the Heat

And here I am, a Pistons fan waiting for a move to be made

THE NBA HAS A NEW SYSTEM WHEN IT COMES TO WINNING ANY SORT OF TITLE, WHETHER IT BE A DIVISIONAL TITLE, BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS OR THE NBA TITLE ITSELF. IN ORDER FOR A TEAM TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS, THEY MUST FORM A BIG THREE WITH THE PROPER ROLE PLAYERS AROUND THEM FOR THE TEAM TO MESH. THE HEAT THIS YEAR HAD SUPERSTARS LEBRON JAMES, DWAYNE WADE, AND CHRIS BOSH. THE ROLE PLAYERS INCLUDED MARIO CHALMERS, SHANE BATTIER, AND THE 300 YEAR OLD BIG MAN HIMSELF, HASLEM. OKLAHOMA CITY HAD A BIG THREE FOR THEMSELVES AS WELL. KEVIN DURANT RAN THE SHOW WITH THE HELP OF RUSSELL WESTBROOK, AND EVEN THOUGH JAMES HARDEN CAME OFF THE BENCH, HE WAS THE THIRD MAIN CONTRIBUTOR. THE ROLE PLAYERS INCLUDED IBAKA AND SEPHALOSHA FOR DEFENSE AND PERKINS TAKING CARE OF THE BOARDS. THE BOSTON CELTICS BIG THREE WAS UNIQUE THOUGH; THEY WON A NBA TITLE THEIR FIRST YEAR TOGETHER. THE COMBO OF KEVIN GARNETT, PAUL PIERCE, AND RAY ALLEN FIT SO WELL TOGETHER, ALL THEY NEEDED WAS RONDO TO DO A LITTLE AS WELL AS PERKINS. NOW THE CELTICS HAVE A NEW ROLE PLAYER IN AVERY BRADLEY PLUS THE ADDITION OF JASON TERRY, WHO IS ACCEPTING OF THE FACT THAT HE IS A SIXTH MAN. ALL OF THESE MOVES ARE MADE FOR MONEY REASONS AND THE CHANCE AT TITLE CONTENTION. THE BIG THREE IN BOSTON HAS CHANGED FROM MID-RANGE THREAT KG, SLASHER PIERCE, AND THREE POINT SPECIALIST ALLEN TO MID-RANGE OLD MAN, KG, SLOW FOOTED PIERCE WHO PLAYS WELL AT TIMES, AND TRIPLE DOUBLE EVERY NIGHT, RONDO. THE MINDSET OF DRIVE AND KICK NO LONGER APPLIES WITHOUT RAY ALLEN. JASON TERRY IS THERE, BUT HE IS AN OLD MAN TOO SO HOW MUCH IS HE GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE. AVERY BRADLEY IS A DEFENSIVE GUY LIKE SEPHALOSHA IN OKC AND RONDO CANNOT SHOOT FROM FURTHER THAN 15 FEET IF HIS LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? ARE THEY GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A RUN AT THE TITLE? IS AGE BUT A NUMBER, OR IS IT GOING TO COME BACK AND HAUNT THEM?
